Visionary Artist – Auckland, New Zealand
Senta Knapp is a New Zealand-based visionary artist, therapist, family mediator and author with a deep interest in the consciousness sciences, sacred texts, symbolism, archetypal psychology and all forms of visionary and transformative art and education.
Art, a portal to the soul’s expanse,
Revealing realms within, a dance,
With truths I shy from, yet reclaim,
Challenger, friend, in honesty’s name.
Teacher, prophet, whispers rare,
Speaking of mysteries, beyond compare,
Amidst turmoil’s tempestuous frame,
Beauty’s grace, art does proclaim.
Life’s purpose veiled, a sacred shroud,
In the unknown, it’s quietly endowed,
A journey’s path, with steps untamed,
In purpose’s silence, we are framed.
Visionary art centres on capturing and expressing the essence of the unseen—the bridge between the physical world and the depths of the human spirit. My work is a journey into the essence of existence, where every stroke, colour and form are imbued with the energy of the soul. I seek to create pieces that resonate beyond the surface, stirring something timeless within the viewer.
In my art, the soul finds its expression through a dance of opposites: light and shadow, chaos and harmony, seen and unseen. I paint from a place of deep listening, allowing visions to emerge that reflect the universal pulse of creation. Each canvas becomes a sacred space where intuition leads and imagination blossoms, where symbols and archetypes flow through me, revealing stories and truths that words cannot capture.
Painting is not just about aesthetics; it is a transformative experience. It has the power to open portals, to inspire reflection, to provide insights, healing, and awakening. Through my work, I strive to evoke that sense of connection, to remind us of the vastness within and around us.
Art, for me, is a vessel of consciousness—a testament to the beauty, mystery, and divinity of the human journey.
“Symbols are organic units of consciousness with a life of their own, and you can never explain them away, because their value is dynamic, emotional, belonging to the sense-consciousness of the body and soul and not simply mental.”
